My Primary School homework revolved around Art and Craft. Every single day, I would tell my Mother I had Art homework. When she got suspicious, I started using Social Studies as an excuse to do Art pieces. It’s amazing to me now, as I recall the teacher only asked for an outline of Singapore, and I submitted a fully painted piece of paper with the Country in green, and the surrounding sea water in blue.
I wish I’m more talented than I am. I’m like a half-baked Art and Craft person now. I’ve got a Degree in Business Administration (specializing in Finance) many years back, and after working for some years, I took an Advance Diploma in Multimedia Development. In between the two qualifications, I took a three-months full time course on Drawing for Animation. (Oh My Goodness, right? What a mixed up path!). Though half-baked, I can’t stop myself from Art and Craft stuff.
Because I love the cosy feeling that Christmas brings, I wanted to design and print my own Christmas Cards for my own use, and to sell if possible. I guess I’m too late to make and sell any this year. For the fun of it, I’m sharing my Christmas Card Design. Do post a comment if you like or hate this. If I get enough likes, I may really make them to sell next Christmas.
